FAQ’s

Is the deck available for functions/events?

The full deck or a portion of the deck is available to book for cocktail style events beginning just before sunset.

Can I reserve a space on the deck for pre-dinner drinks?

Unfortunately, not, our deck is also full of people dining so we can only reserve one spot for you function.

What menu can I dine from for my event?

If you are having a seated style event, we kindly ask you to dine from our function set menu. The menu consists of 3 expertly selected courses created by our chefs, ideal for event groups. If you are wanting to have a standing style function, we have an extensive canape list to select from. These can be found in our events package.

Can I bring decorations?

You may bring small table decorations that will not block the spectacular ocean views for our other diners. We don’t allow glitter or confetti. If you are hiring our private dining room or the whole venue there you may discuss decorations with the events team.

Can I bring a cake?

We have special occasion cakes available for purchase. Please contact events@shorehouse.com.au for details. You are more than welcome to bring you own cake. A cakeage fee of $5 per person applies.
