KHG sets the tone for waterside hospitality in Perth. Our restaurants don’t just serve food and mix drinks, they shake up the experience of dining with views by doing things no one expects, creating an original experience ribboned with surprise and delight.
Consider the suite of venues that have been transformed anew within the KHG business. Kailis’ Fish Market Café has evolved from a fish and chip shop and market to a harbourside hotspot with a raw seafood bar, high end barbeque and enviable winelist. Kailis Trigg Beach has been reimagined as a slick beachfront restaurant called Island Market, using neon lighting, dripping graffiti sprays and Middle Eastern fare to set it apart. Taking in expansive ocean views from its exceptionally wide deck, The Shorehouse has become such a coveted institution of white, wooden interiors and yellow parasols, few remember the property’s former life.
With a growing portfolio, all KHG venues are defined by exceptional locations, personable service and unwavering attention to culinary highs.
Reflecting this are a growing collection of awards: three of our venues earned glasses at the 2022 Wine List of the Year Awards; Kailis’ Fish Market Café won the Australian Hotels Association Family Dining Venue of the Year for 2020, and our managing director George Kailis took out the WA Good Food Guide Hospitality Operator of the Year in 2019. We’re as proud of these accolades as we are our contributions to the community. KHG supports children’s charity, Radio Lollipop, as well as the Swanbourne Nedlands Surf Lifesaving Club, Allen Park Tennis Club and Mayo Community Garden.
